Broken Bells features artist–producer Brian Burton a/k/a Danger Mouse and James Mercer, the lead vocalist and guitarist for the indie rock band The Shins.
The album is 10 melodically seductive and psychologically provocative tracks co-written and performed by the pair. Each bring their own style with Mercer on vocals, guitars and bass while Burton plays organ, drums, piano, synths and bass.
The album is set to release March 9, 2010.
