Day 1 - Madlib I can honestly say that if J Dilla never met Madlib......we wouldn't be listening to the same music today. Now with that said sure a lot of producers know of Dilla & Madlib but the connection these 2 had through their music was incredible. If you were listening in last night we started the show off with this track off Dilla & Madlib's album Champion Sound. Half the album is Dilla rhyming over Madlib...and vice versa and believe me ALL tracks are dope. Madlib's career is all over the place really. Not only does he produce hip hop but also R&B, Jazz, Soul, etc etc. He's got over 10 different aliases (explained in a later post) which are all connected to completely different projects that he's produced and arranged himself. He's probably the most creative producer I've ever encountered. Please turn this up as loud as possible....check that sample use of the horns....and that bass line......OFFICIAL
