Friday October 8th is the last day and biggest party of Feeding Toronto’s Hungry Students Week, a period in which students and community leaders have been fundraising and spreading awareness about student hunger in Toronto.

As the event’s feature performer, Miles Jones will take the Yonge-Dundas square stage at 1:15-2:00. I had the chance to catch up with Miles earlier today, when he told me he will be appearing with frequent collaborator DJ Serious, who will spin beats from behind the boards.

This performance will take place amidst a flurry of other attractions, the most intriguing–besides Miles and Serious–being a guest appearance from a strongman, who will attempt to pull a School bus across the square with his bare hands. Intense…
