Toronto’s Ryan Field calls his music “electric R&Soul.” And the name is justified: between Field’s smooth vibrato R&B vocals, electro synth based production (by Dominic “Dot” Okune), the reverb-soaked violin solo in the middle and the spoken verse over the some washy electro noise, there is no doubt a melange of bass hugging genres packed into “Dream On.” If you dig this, stay tuned for Ryan’s new album, The New Beginning, which drops in November.
