Azad Right was first recognized at a Def Jam rap star videogame release party in 2010. From there he went on to open for Method Man and Redman, Tinie Tempah, Phonte & 9th Wonder, Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar, and more recently The Game and Slaughterhouse. With this new track “Intuition”, Azad is trying to make that jump from opening act to headliner. Right speaks about heartbreak and trusting your intuition over a smooth beat produced by sy.ic who samples Jamie Woon’s “Spirits”. I am really feeling this song and I hope to hear more like it from this California kid. Listen to and download “Intuition” below.

“My story is something that people should know about. Hip-Hop culture has grown so much and I’m living proof. Ten years ago, an Iranian-American rapper was an impossible career choice. In 2012, I plan to make it my reality.”
