Danny Brown lays down some funky verses over J Dilla’s production and DJ Dez’s scratches in “Jay-Dee’s Revenge”, the first single off Dilla’s upcoming posthumous album Rebirth of Detroit. Normally I’m a little uneasy about unreleased material being released posthumously, but this one has Ma Dukes’ blessing, so it’s alright with me. Also, any time we get to hear new Dilla beats is a beautiful thing. Rebirth of Detroit drops June 12th. Check out the visuals for “Jay-Dee’s Revenge” below.
