Over the past week the Chicago collective known as Cocaine 80’s have released several new songs gearing up for what looks like another EP drop. Their last project Ghost Lady (download here) was the first I had actually heard of the Common and No I.D. led group. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of music on Ghost Lady and instantly became a fan of Cocaine 80’s. Their most recent release “Chain Glow” is featuring Nas and it doesn’t disappoint. Roc Nation signee James Fauntleroy takes care of the vocals on top of No I.D.’s production. This is good music, don’t sleep.
