Cory Jreamz is an up and coming rapper from Houston, Texas. I first heard about him when I came across his strange, but dope video for “Victoria“. Here we have some new visuals to a track called “IONR”, which from the lyrics I take stands for “Internet (Is) Our New Religion”. I like Jreamz’s style as a rapper. The messages he puts in his songs and the way he brings them to life with his lyrics and videos are on-point. Both “Victoria” and “IONR” are featured on his 4-track EP Polysemy. If you dig what you hear after watching this well done Apollo Stackwell directed video, then listen to the rest of Jreamz’s EP on his website. Cory has only recently graduated from high school, but after listening to his music it is clear that the kid has a lot on his mind. I’m definitely looking forward to hearing more from Cory Jreamz, I suggest you listen to Polysemy, but first get a feel with the “IONR” video below.
