Nas’ long awaited, and highly anticipated album Life is Good dropped yesterday, definitely worth the wait. Depending on where you buy it you’ll either get 14 tracks (regular version), 18 (deluxe edition), 19 (iTunes version), or 20 tracks on the Japanese version. Either way, all the tracks are great, production is top notch. Full and rich beats from the likes of No I.D, J.U.S.T.I.C.E League, even the late Heavy D lay a great canvas for Nas to paint.
I’ve been a long time fan of Nas, mostly of his Illmatic-Stillmatic era. I feel he was atop his game at that point and Life is Good brings that feeling back for me. If you’ve second guessed giving this a chance, check out streams of Loco-Motive, Trust, Bye Baby, and Cherry Wine via links. As well, purchase link is available through the iTunes link and the video for Daughters is down below, enjoy.
