Ruby Hornet, SoundScape Studios and MTV2 are to thank for Closed Sessions Vol. 2, a mixtape that will feature this crazy Sir Michael Rocks, Vic Mensa and DJ Babu collaboration. Sir Michael Rocks is known for his success with The Cool Kids, while Vic Mensa is a rising star who looks to bring his band Kids These Days for the ride. I think it’s great to see a veteran of the game like DJ Babu hooking up with the youth on this one, and together in Chicago’s SoundScape Studio they created “So Stupid”. Rocks and Mensa come with their signature deliveries for a verse each over Babu’s production. This is some good stuff so be sure to check it out. Stream and download available below.
