[News] Maestro Fresh Wes announces a new album in a interview with The Canadian Press

In an interview with The Canadian Press last week, Maestro Fresh Wes announced the release date of a new album, which is set to be in stores for June 25th. Seeing as this is his first full length album in over a decade, I doubt anyone could be looking forward to anything else this summer besides some new music from “The Godfather of Canadian Hip-Hop”. Recently charting number one in a CBC poll as Canada’s greatest rapper ever, Fresh Wes still continues to raise the bar when it comes to his music, as well as other ventures he partakes in. Like I’m sure a lot of people are, I am just as excited to finally get some more music from the Canadian icon after last year’s Black Tuxedo EP. Orchestrated Noise will feature a great list of talented artists like Measha Brueggergosman, Chuck D of Public Enemy, Classified, K-OS, Lights, Brand Nubian’s Sadat X, Kardinal Offishall, The Trews, Kool G Rap, Divine Brown, Saukrates, Sam Roberts and Rich Kidd. Here is what Maestro had to say about the album in the interview with The Canadian Press.

“Orchestrated Noise is a ‘conceptual extension’ of my 1989 release, Symphony in Effect. Which will continue the exploration of genre-cross over, blending rock and classical instrumentation. It is my most ambitious album”

So while we all await June 25th, check out our interview with Maestro at a previous show in London and let me know how excited you are for Orchestrated Noise below.
