TiRon and Ayomari just dropped the visuals to “PRTY N BLSHT” off their latest release, The Wonderful Prelude pt. 1. Taking a nod from B.I.G’s namesake, the Los Angeles duo craft a clever commentary on “PRTY N BLSHT.” What, at first listen, could be mistaken for a party song, actually goes much deeper to highlight the emptiness involved in going to the club week after week. Funnily enough, I was about to write a post about how the track is an ode to partying until I listened closer to the lyrics. The thing is, the music is so good that we let our guards down to the message – sort of like Kendrick Lamar’s “Swimming Pools”. The visuals, directed by Cynical Smile, bring it all together and drive the message home. Check out the visuals to “PRTY N BLSHT” below – and while you’re at it, take in HNGRY and A Sucker For Pumps, too. You’ll thank me, I promise.
