[Video] Perfeck Strangers ft. Wordsworth & Yonatan Watts – “Dreams” (Dir: Andre Rehal)

Perfeck Strangers (Promise & Dan-e-o) recently released the visuals to “Dreams”, off their debut album Series Premiere – which is a free release, by the way, so you should definitely give it a download. On “Dreams”, the Toronto-based duo re-imagine the assassinations of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X as if they never happened. Brooklyn emcee Wordsworth joins them on a verse, and Yonatan Watts lends his soulful vocals to the chorus. Watch the Andre Rehal-directed visuals below.

“The block got hot/ Right before I thought he woulda got shot, he dodged it/ Guess God wanted him to keep talkin’/ He said, ‘I had a dream, but it wasn’t for me, Promise/ When I leave all this, I’m gonna need unique artists/ To grab the mic, and speak knowledge.'” – Promise
