We’re less than a month away from Shad’s Flying Colours release (due out October 15th through Black Box), and ahead of Manifesto weekend, Shad took the time to delve into his latest project. In the video, Shad sits down with OTA Live!‘s Ty Harper in Dreamhouse Studio to discuss the much-anticipated album and what his aspirations were in putting it together. Says Shad, “I really think a lot about ‘what am I putting out there for people?’ I’m asking them to listen to my music. To me, that’s a big ask, and I really want to feel every time like ‘this is worthwhile,’ and [Flying Colours is] worthwhile because I’ve stepped it up.” With strong singles in “Stylin” and “Fam Jam (Fe Sum Immigrins)”, I’ll take his word for it.
