In a recent interview with RevoltTV Common revealed that he and master mind producer No I.D. will be releasing a joint project in 2014 entitled, Nobody’s Smiling. The album’s title is a reflection of all the violence prevalent in the streets of Chicago. “War”, the first single off Nobody’s Smiling, is Common’s call for action, letting listeners know his stance of inner-city violence and his ideas to end it. “War” is a great sneak peak of what Common and NO I.D. have in-store for the state hip hop.
