London is on a roll right now! The homie Kehmak just dropped two new singles the other day with features from the multi-talented Bukue One from California, as well as one of my personal favorite R&B singers/emcee’s Haviah Mighty. After hearing these two, it leaves you craving more and trust me; there is more to come from Treetop this year! Though you’ll have to just wait and see. “Day or Night” feautring Haviah Mighty has a Reggae vibe to it; a sort of love song that isn’t too sentimental. I’ll say right now it is going to be the song of the summer. With Culture on the production, you know as with any Treetop track it’s something to be remembered. Though it wasn’t enough for Kehmak to release one great track, he dropped “Sling Slang”, a feature he did for Bukue One, who also produces the song as well. Bukue One does his thing over this hype ninety’s vibe instrumental and once Kehmak comes in with the verse, the only words that come out of your mouth are “damn”! While we await to see what Kehmak and Treetop bring next, take in “Sling Slang” and “Day or Night” and let me know what you think, is this Treetop’s year? I’d say yes if you asked me.
