“Light It Up” is PR Starr’s new single that is featured on Project Dynasty’s mix tape, Melodic Thoughts. While the video is dreamily romantic, the track is a realistic representation of the complexities of relationships- the good, the bad, and the tragically ugly. Alicia Renee serenades with her soothing voice on the chorus, “Light up the fire that’s out in my heart”. It’s catchy- it’s also relatable.
The cinematography, by Zoe TV Lock Productions, is excellent; it contributes to the overall feel of the track, not to mention they picked the perfect time of day to film most of the scenes (sunset on the beach? Right on). “Light it Up” will also be featured on PR Starr’s third solo mixtape, My Life, Your Entertainment.
