It’s always a great thing when hip-hop gets involved with the community, especially when it comes to teaching the youth. With so many negative influence’s in the world, when people come together for a good cause, we bring a positive change. On March 29th, For The People ran their first workshop in collaboration with London Community Chaplaincy and Tim Hortons Childrens Foundation called Art Matters. Teaching children of all ages the art of song writing, videography, visual arts, dance and barbering. For The People is a company started by London’s Jon Lines and artist Richie Blackz. They’ve been making some powerful moves and this video below shows you some of the things they brought to the Art Matters Workshop.
