Young Chris, one half of the Young Gunz has been steady grinding ever since the dismantling of Jay-Z’s 2000 era Roc-A-Fella Roster. I remember buying the first Young Gunz Cd Tough Luv back in ’04, and have been a fan ever since. Though Young Chris and the rest of the State Property collective didn’t make the transition over to Jay-Z’s RocNation label, Chris has been dropping independent tracks and mixtape’s on the regular-his latest effort is one that I feel will get him back on your radar. Going Over YG’s banger, “Who Do You Love,” Young Chris flips the instrumental with his trademark style, reminding listeners of how much talent and energy he brings on the mic.
