Last week, Common announced that he would be releasing his 10th studio album, Nobody’s Smiling; a concept album focusing on the violence in Chicago which will be released on July 22. Today, Common drops off a bonus cut from the LP titled “Speak My Piece.” The track features a short-lived sample of Notorious B.I.G.’s “Hypnotize” with production by Common’s frequent producer, No I.D. who handles the fundamental percussion.
