Last night at midnight the Weeknd posted Norwegian producer Kygo’s remix to his track, “Often.” Kygo’s rendition of the Weeknds player anthem is much lighter and care free than the original XO track; a completely different vibe, but just as tight in my opinion. Abel’s don juan lyrics float nicely above Kygo’s synths. As the Weeknd’s lyrics proceed to get nastier, Kygo’s beat reciprocates to match the mood. If you dig the origional to “Often,” check this track out for sure. Kygo will be announcing North American & European tour dates later this week.
