This past April 20th we celebrated our 7th Year Anniversary at the Hideaway Bar and Lounge with D-Sisive, TreeTop Ent, Haviah Mighty and A-Fos & The Rude Youth. It was a blast, full of cake, fans, friends, supporters, and most importantly Feel Good Music. For those who didn’t get a chance to celebrate you can watch the video. I want to take it back, for those early TCUS fans, you might remember 5 years ago I was selling T-Shirts and Hoodies in small quantities when I was attending Fanshawe College, UWO, and around London hand to hand.
Shad and Chedo
People loved the clothing and it got to a point that the demand was so high that I had to take a break selling them because of school. So this time around we made a VERY LIMITED run on snapbacks and T-Shirts. The logo we have on the merch below isn’t our current logo and I decided to bring back the CLASSIC logo to pay homage to those times of pure hustle, and the importance of LEARNING by DOING. You know how you have your favourite item of clothing you wear over and over again because you love how comfortable it is and how it makes you feel? Well that’s what I wanted to capture in our clothing.
These pieces are limited and created especially for our loyal and passionate fans. The soft 100% cotton t-shirt has our original logo on the chest with a maple leaf underneath to show our Canadian roots.
The jersey inspired back features our ‘TCUS’ hashtag with the numbers ‘07’ which marks the year of our founding as well as the year of the anniversary.
Inspired from the 1990s golden era of hip hop, we also have a black snapback with a green undervisor that features our original graffiti-style logo on the front with special embroidery marking our 7th year on the right side along with ‘#TCUS’ on the left. There are also small details inside each of these pieces that mark this special occasion for us and the fans of that feel good music
