A couple weeks after dropping the audio for “Broke Dreams“, VNCHY brings us the visual, directed by KidStudio, from his “Neverland” EP. With audio production by Prezident Jeff, the dark undertones from the beat mesh with the lyrics to throw the listener into a whole new world.
“Although I am the hunter, I have the ability to empathize with the hunted”
– VNCHY to Exclaim!
VNCHY, the 19 year old Congo-born, Ottawa-based artist worked closely with KidStudio to take the visual for “Broke Dreams” to the next level. The Scarborough Bluffs, Rosedale Ravine, and Markham Forest, are just some of Toronto’s outdoors that have entranced VNCHY in this scenic, though mysterious visual. KidStudio also has some impressive feats under his belt, such as The Weeknd‘s “King of the Fall“. Through boasting a unique strategy, VNCHY appears to be on the prowl in “Broke Dreams” which will serve to be the first video in a series that will be released with several EP’s throughout the year, which will all lead to his debut album.
“Neverland represents a personal domain that resides in all of us and is used to exercise untapped potential.” VNCHY’s “Neverland” EP is slated to drop later this week, and is setting up to be a big release. Are you going to pick it up? Let us know in the comments section.
