The HMC crew is back at it with the K Jotham and Daimon Miles assisted single, “Mirrors.” Coming off the success of, “Make It Home,” this latest release proves to be just as dope. The “Mirrors” short finds K Jotham and Daimon Miles making their way through a run down dilapidated house; seemingly symbolic to the tracks content. Pulling from past experiences of despair and struggle, Jotham and Miles shed light to their grind over the eerie Kooleidoscope produced instrumental, bringing us a track that everyone can relate to on one level or another. What I dig most about The HMC is the fact that they are always coming with that real life mood music. Jotham and Miles are brutally honest and unapologetic on this joint right here; nothing is sugar coated.
I’m sure there are a million emcees out there who wish they could have snagged this location for their video shoot. The “Mirrors” video looks like its been pulled right out of a Wes Craven flick. I’m always stoked when the HMC releases new content. This crew always ups the ante with their songs and visuals making them one of the most exciting rosters in the game. “Mirrors” is haunting, captivating and above all else dope.
