Quake Matthews is out with his own spin on Kanye West’s “Real Friends,” seizing the moment to rap about the shallowness of so many relationships – using others for personal gain and feigning interest in other people’s lives. The production is a perfect fit for Quake, and he makes the most of it.
“I ain’t sayin’ I ain’t did it; I’m far from a saint/ This way of thinking we as humans adopt as a race/ And everybody relates/ If you’re the only one real, you’re the only one fake.”
