Scarborough native Yung Tory has been highly prolific over the past few months, dropping a slew of singles that have established himself as a potential player in the ever-growing Toronto rap scene. His latest single “Stop” features production from frequent collaborators GamerBoomin and TrillGotJuice with videography from Charlton Visuals, whose most recent video for Syph’s “Whole Lotta / DirtyBird” premiered on The Fader this week.

While there isn’t a lot that is radically new about Yung Tory, his songs will get stuck in your head and he raps with an expressiveness that could make the most mundane of subjects worth singing along to. Judging by his consistency, I expect fans will not be disappointed in 2017. Stream the full video for “Stop” above.
