On October 16th, RIFF by the CO.LAB presented Session XL in Toronto at The Fermenting Cellar in the Distillery District. “RIFF is a community and cannabis brand that is co-created by the CO.LAB, a collective of creators and artists who love a good joint effort.”  The CO.LAB transformed the venue into a mini art installation, which included live painting, LED projections, neon lighting and much more…

Opening the evening was Haviah Mighty who warmed up the crowd with her HipHop set. Next up was Uptown Boyband, who had the crowd jumping to their familiar hype sound. Local talent Yung Tory took the stage next, playing his hit songs; Water, Mizu, and recent release ZEZE. Lastly, who everyone was waiting for Sheck Wes, who started his set with the hit song Mo Bomba and the crowd went wild, with everyone moshing. He continued his set playing songs from his recent album “MUD BOY”, and the energy in the room remained high. When we thought he had finished his set, Sheck Wes performed Mo Bomba one more time, elevating the energy to a new high. Sensing it was going to be the last song of the night, the concert goers went all out. If you ever have a chance to attend a future RIFFCO.LAB event, I would highly recommend going, in the meantime make sure to follow them on their Instagram and check out their website to find out more information about RIFF.
