London, Ontario hosted the JUNOS Fest on March 15th – 16th, 2019. The weekend featured over 100 artists throughout 15 different venues across London in preparation for the award show on the 17th.

We hosted our own JUNOS Fest show at the Rec Room which featured TOBi, Shay Lia, Saveria and Nathan Ali. The room was packed with great energy and good vibes from both the artists and the audience.

Nathan Ali, one of London’s own kicked off our show on a great note with his smooth vocals by performing a few of his hits such as Vacation and What She Want.

Saveria, a winner from CTV’s The Launch followed up by displaying her versatility in the rnb genre as she performed her originals Harsh Lights and Down to The Roots. She also performed covers by putting her own twist into Daniel Caesar’s Blessed and Lady Gaga’s Edge of Glory. This London native captivated alot of new listeners from her set.

Shay Lia, a Montreal rnb artist performed right after and stunned the crowd with performances of her originals including her featured songs with KAYTRANADA Chances and Leave Me Alone. She was so soulful in her set as she owned the stage by fully moving around and dancing as she gave the crowd a few moments to remember.

Finally, TOBi our headliner took on the stage to close the night off. Hailing from Brampton, he brought his jazzy and soulful take on rnb by blessing the crowd with his bangers such as LiBRa, January December and City Blues. His closing set put a strong exclamation mark to end this successful night leaving London blown away. Make sure to check out the full gallery on our Flickr profile.
