Our girl Haviah is back on her remix game. Gearing up for the release of her Bass Loud EP, Haviah drops a remix to Dej Loaf's block buster hit, "Try Me." Haviah kills the melodies on the now infamous DDS instrumental, and goes extra hard for the last few bars of the track, giving the listeners that classic Haviah flow. One of my favorite tunes off AuRA just got some visuals. SeT teams up with Haviah Mighty for "Until Then", a song that can be taken two ways - one about love and meeting a girl - or hip-hop (as it is portrayed as a female in many eyes). The visuals take you along this romantic encounter though with anything, there's always a twist. I'm glad these two linked up. SeT and Haviah Mighty that is. Separately they're phenomenal, together they're a force to be reckoned with. 
There have been a lot of successful hip hop events held at the APK through the past several months, and The Consignment Show presentation, Smashmouth Mentality Showcase proved to one of livest nights yet. Artist's from Toronto, Waterloo and London came together to show case their talents and show love to other up and coming artists. Hip hop fans who were at the APK Saturday night had the chance to witness some of the best talent Canada has to offer, with a bill consisting of Flex the Antihero, Richie Blackz, Dillanponders, Jimmy B, SeT, Haviah Mighty, Jay Downz, EGAA, The Bass6, and DJ DoubleDown. Good morning! Not to long ago, the talented Haviah Mighty dropped her newest project Dominant 7eventh, which is incredible by the way. If you haven't had the opportunity to check it out. Haviah Mighty just released some brand new visuals to go along with the EP for song number five, "We Can't Be". Which as you go through Dominant 7eventh, "We Can't Be" is the breaking point for the relationship which the project focuses on. I know a lot of women have felt this way at one time or another. Check out the visuals for Haviah Mighty's single "We Can't Be" and let me know what you think about the video. I think it's one of the most creative video's I've seen this year!
