As promised The Weeknd took to twitter to give his fans something new in anticipation for his Trilogy, which is set for release on November 13th. "Enemy" is the first new solo effort we've gotten from The Weeknd in a while, and it's good to know he doesn't plan on changing himself as an artist with all the fame that's come his way as of late. Although I don't see the sex and drug themed "Enemy" blowing anyone away like some of The Weeknd's music is capable of, it is sure to hold over fans for the next couple weeks before Trilogy is released in full. Stream the track below and check the pre-order available for The Weeknd's album debut now on iTunes.
I've been hearing some things about this rapper Frank Leone out of Illinois and finally I got to see what all the talk was about. Ruby Hornet premiered Deep Ocean last night, a 7 song EP that perfectly illustrates who Frank is as an artist. His mellow flow captures the listener from start to finish. The spacey production heard throughout Deep Ocean helps carry Frank's style as a rapper, making this a great overall listen. Frank stays local with the features, as fellow Chicago natives Vic Mensa and Nico Segal of Kids These Days as well as a personal favourite Kami De Chukwu make their own respected appearances on Deep Ocean.

“This EP is my first full project most people have heard of mine,” Frank said when asked about the importance of the project. “I have released a few mixtapes, but this project is going to define me as an artist, and I intend to broaden the horizons of what hip hop can sound like.”Stream the EP below and if you like what you hear a download link is available as well.
In preparation for his upcoming project Acid Rap, Chance The Rapper decided to let loose a new freestyle over Wayne's latest single "No Worries". I can't say I'm really a fan of the original, but anytime this Chicago kid rap it's worth a listen. Chance puts his signature spin on
"No Worries" "I Ain't Word" with a couple dope verses. Acid Rap is coming soon, for now stream "I Ain't Word" below. And if you're still sleeping and have yet to grab Chance's debut 10 Day tape, do yourself a favour and do so right away.
Chuuwee has been hard at work preparing for the release of his mixtape Wildstyle. Crown Me King dropped back in April, and it quickly became one of my favourite projects of the year. The California natives ability to bring back 90's hip-hop is really something special. It's rare for a young emcee to still take such an old-school approach with their music, and then pulling it off with such authenticity like Chuuwee does. Today Chuuwee's pride and joy is released to the masses, and thankfully Wildstyle picks up right where Crown Me King left off. If you're a real hip-hop head I think this is something you need to hear.

Stream and download are available below, but first check the trailer for Wildstyle released back in May before the May 29th release date was pushed back.

“Wild Style is the album that’s going to eradicate weak rap off the face of the map. It is the return of real Hip-Hop. It’s pure and it’s not me trying to re-make it. It’s not me telling you its 90s Hip-Hop; it is 90s Hip-Hop” - Chuuwee
