[Video x Audio]: Tona – “Burn”

Don't know much about Tona, he's an artists from Toronto and this was passed to me by one of my connects from Brooklyn. What's he says in the interview above is very interesting, I really like his approach, originality and lyrics can take you a long way in Hip Hop. Make sure to stream and download below his latest track titled "Burn" off his upcoming project The New North album coming later this year. [Video] J. Cole – “Work Out”

I have high expectation's for J.Cole, I feel he's a true lyricist and we haven't seen a rapper like him in quite some time. I've seen people like Wiz, Big Sean, Nicki Minaj and others progress to mainstream success while it seems like J.Cole is stuck in the one hit away category. This video isn't bad, I just don't think it fits such a talented artist. Don't get me wrong, other artists had terrible first major label videos (Massive Attack) and were able to bounce back. I have confidence that Roc Nation will get things together with J.Cole and find the right path before the big day. If you've followed J.Cole's progress you'll know what I'm talking about, and if you're a true fan you'll buy Cole World: The Sideline Story on 9/27 no matter what happens between now and then.
