Drinking and driving is something to be taken seriously. In Canada alone about 1250 to 1500 people a year are killed by impaired driving according to MADD statistics. At some point we have all been affected by it and to help bring awareness, Peter Jackson chose to use his talent as an artist to share a true story about a tragic event of 4 teens, which one chose to get behind the wheel while under the influence. This subject is rarely touched with hip-hop music, so it's great to see when it is. Teaming up with Lukas Rossi, the current frontman for The Halo Method, the two cover the classic Skid Row "18 to Life". Having a friend who was in a fatal accident due an impaired driver, for me this one definitely hits home. Peter Jackson will be donating 100% of the proceeds from this latest single off Fresh Start to MADD as well. Purchase: Peter Jackson ft. Lukas Rossi - "18 to Life"
