In nine days, this years Juno Awards take place in Hamilton, Ontario. Among the rap nominees, are some of the best in the Canadian scene. Ironically, they are all from Toronto and surrounding areas. Which in my opinion, the GTA has some of the best artists in the business. Not to exclude the east or west coast, because the Canadian scene as a whole is taking over. Toronto is just the hub of it all.
Performing a song off their nominated projects, Saukrates, Naturally Born Strangers (Tona, Adam Bomb, Rich Kidd) & Tre Mission head over to CBC Music HQ with Marco Polo who runs the boards on the whole ordeal. What happens next though, is a time stamp in Canadian rap history as we get to hear them all go in on a cypher. With Saukrates setting it off, followed by Adam Bomb, Tre Mission than Tona. As each emcee goes in, it's evident why these guys are nominated for Rap Recording of the Year. Also nominated, P Reign who is currently on tour with Drake in Australia & New Zealand. Rich Kidd is out in LA who is part of the collective, Naturally Born Strangers. If both of them were there also, it would be even crazier!

[Video] TheLegendsLeague Presents: Naturally Born Strangers Pop-Up Shop & Concert Re-Cap
Coming off a successful mixtape release, TheLegendsLeague Presents: Naturally Born Strangers (consisting of Rich Kidd, Adam Bomb and Tona) had a pop-up shop and concert event on January 31st. Some of us from the team made it up to catch the event and me being one of the one's who didn't make it, all I could do was catch photograph's randomly throughout the night and that was enough to make you wish you were there. Setting up a pop-up shop for TheLegendsLeague exclusive Naturally Born Strangers merchandise, selling out the MOD Club, it was a very successful night for all of them.
Taking a quote from a recent interview I did with Chef Byer, "That’s a testament to the amount of talent this country has and the area of Toronto has. I f*ck with Adam Bomb,I f*ck with Tona, I f*ck with Rich Kidd. Those guys are really dope artists from the city. It’s good to see those three receive that kind of recognition. It’s a sign that people are really paying attention to these artist’s with integrity in their craft.". I couldn't of said it better myself.
