I've been waiting on this one for a while! The Extremities (Fresh Kils and Uncle Fester) just released their latest project, Re:Fresh. The 11-track release features official remixes from various artists' original projects. All of the superb production is handled by Kils and Fes, and all cuts are handled by Fes (with the exception of DJ Grouch on "Like This" and DJ Pangea Delphi on "Lift Off"). A couple early favourites are "Don't Sleep" with Rich Kidd, "Just The Day" with Relic & Saukrates, and "Recreation" with Ghettosocks. Stream and pay what you can for Re:Fresh below.

Ambition just dropped his latest release, the Man Of The Year EP, featuring cuts by Uncle Fester. For those unfamiliar with Ambition, the Halifax emcee is part of the Droppin' Science/Backburner family, and has worked closely with Uncle Fester (of The Extremities) since 2009's Just For Kicks. The six-track EP is a mostly solo ride for Ambeez, with the exception of "Show Time", which features Rich Kidd and Quake. The EP features production from Dexter Doolittle, The Extremities, Relic, and !llmind. Stream/pay what you can for the EP below.
Fresh off his "There Is Only Today" video release, Muneshine blesses The Extremities with a banging remix of "Around the Corner" featuring Relic and Ambition. As is always the case with Muneshine, he does a terrific job, whether on the mic or behind the boards. The original comes off The Extremities' superb album The Mint Condition. For more on the album, check out our interview with one half of The Extremities, Fresh Kils. For more visuals off the album, check out "Dial Tones". Check out the visuals to "Around The Corner" (Muneshine Remix) below.
Toronto/Halifax duo The Extremities (Fresh Kils & Uncle Fester) just dropped the visuals to "Dial Tones", a standout track off one of my favourite albums of last year, The Mint Condition. This comes as the second set of visuals off The Mint Condition, after "Around the Corner". On "Dial Tones", Kils & Fes bring along fellow Halifax artists Ghettosocks and Ambition, as well as Philly native Lushlife, for a hip-hop version of the telephone game. Of course, the music is fantastic. Check out the visuals to "Dial Tones" below, and check out the rest of The Mint Condition afterwards.
