Jay-Z doesn't get the chance to do many interviews now a days because of how busy he is so when he takes the time today to drop by Hot 97 to chat with Angie Martinez all of the hip-hop community paused the hear what the man himself had to say. Discussing everything from changing RIAA rules, his first week sales, Dame Dash, his daughter, "Open Letter", Magna Carta sessions, Tweeting, Television, Money, Obama, his upcoming tour to Yeezus and Born Sinner as well as much more. You really get a glimpse of the humble attitude Jay has kept throughout his career while watching this interview and his insights on a few subjects that he may not touch in his music fully. Yes we get on each others nerves, that's a part of pushing each other, people who have a problem with Kanye or myself, are people who are complacent in life. Hov made an improprtu stop at Hot 97 to kick it with Angie Martinez. Jay talked about his relationship with Kanye West and alleged fights they've had, Hov explains it beautifully in the quote above and I relate to it as feel most of us are complacent with life and don't push each other to be greater. That's why Jay explains in this interview he keeps "healthy" people around him, who give him honest opinions and I think that's the difference between greatness and mediocrity.
