
Greensboro, NC emcee Rodd.D drops the first visual off his EP,
Hangar31, which is interestingly also the first official video of his career. Directed by Anthony Burnette, the video captures Rodd.D overcoming his biggest insecurity while also showing confidence throughout the entire video. I put my biggest insecurity in the video for a reason. I’ve struggled with accepting “me” for who I am for so long. This song and video just screams “for once I can look in the mirror and be happy with who I am.” I’ve been teased about my smile since I was a lil dude, but I just realize it’s up to me to kill the insecurity and after this video it’s dead to me now. The same niggas that made fun of me look at me like a fucking hero now so what can I really say?[Laughs] - Rodd.D
