Bed Stuy native HOA Bossman brings us his latest creation, "Sweet Mary". The sound for this track is very soulful and pleasant and the rhymes are on par with what we can expect from some of the best Brookyln emcees. He was featured on our blog earlier this month for another video, "Memoir of Injustice", which he also co-directed with Tarela Kelvin Ebiotu. We hope to see some more great music and videos from his movement in the near future. Take a moment to check out the video below!
Brooklyn emcee Iceberg Shim recently released visuals for his song, "Memoirs of Injustice", from his upcoming mixtape titled Mein Kampf. The song and very edgy mixtape title show that Iceberg Shim is not shy when talking about his struggles in life and demands attention for his message. This song is successful at creating a nostalgic feeling, but it still has a rightful place in 2013. With its boom bap style beat, the visuals of Bed Stuy and a verse from fellow Brooklyn emcee HOA Bossman, this track takes us back to the earlier days of hip-hop.
