Imagine if there was a mixtape like this for every album you own: the people over at
Yours Truly were curious about the source material Big K.R.I.T used for his uber successful self-produced mixtape-gone-album,
K.R.I.T Wuz Here, but instead of just wondering about it, they asked K.R.I.T to re-visit the wax he sourced and put together a mixtape that explores, through radio-like commentary, the album's sample origins. Hence the Mixtape's title:
Before There Wuz Here. It's every production nerd's wet- dream.
