You might've seen the Twitter picture with Busta Rhymes and Eminem in studio and the work from that session is finally here. Busta Rhymes spoke on collaboration late last year saying
I’ve got a six-minute record with Eminem that sounds like we are respectfully trying to battle each other in a way that you probably never heard us battle in our entire careers on a record
The result is "Calm Down" produced by Scoop DeVille, it's so refreshing to hear a new single by two legendary artist that is on that Hip-Hop ish. What do you think of the song? Comment below. Purchase: Busta Rhymes ft Eminem- "Calm Down" (Prod: Scoop DeVille)
Add this to your list of mixtapes to download and listen to immediately. Q-Tip and Busta Rhymes have teamed up for something truly special, a thoroughly head-nodding 28-track free offering: The Abstract and The Dragon. When your mixtape cover harkens back to Tribe's Low End Theory, there are immediately certain expectations as to the style and quality of the music. Those expectations were furthered when we got the visuals to Busta's "Thank You." Thankfully, The Abstract and The Dragon delivers on all levels. The collaborative project is chock full of beats and rhymes both old and new, and both Busta and Tip sound reinvigorated. A couple early favourites include "God Lives Through," "Steppin' It Up," "The Abstract & The Dragon," and "You Can't Hold The Torch."

I've played it on the radio show for the past couple of weeks and J.R. and I were discussing how excited we are for "Thank You" by Busta Rhymes and Q-Tip. It's still not clear whether this song is going to be on the joint mixtape The Abstract & The Dragon which releases in Dec 12. Busta's first album on Cash Money Records E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event) 2: End Of The World is expected to drop early next year. In the meantime we can look forward to the mixtape in December which is looking to be another amazing month of great music. Take in the official music video for "Thank You" with cameos from Lil Wayne and Kanye West and let me know what you think.
We're only five days away from Talib's upcoming album, Prisoners of Conscious as he links up with Busta for his latest offering. Listen to "Rocket Ships," produced by RZA.
