[Video] Pro Era – “Like Water” (Dir: Jonah Schwartz)
Rest in peace, Capital STEEZ. Pro Era recently released the music video to "Like Water", a visual tribute to the late Flatbush emcee. On "Like Water", STEEZ, Joey Bada$$, and CJ Fly take turns spitting over Statik Selektah's relaxed, piano-laced production. The track comes off Pro Era's PEEP: The aPROcalypse mixtape, and is a bonafide throwback to that nineties New York sound. Check out the Jonah Schwartz-directed visuals to "Like Water" below."Capitalizing the name "Capital STEEZ" is now as good as remembering any credible historic leader leading a militant army of troops. "Like Water" is the visual stepping stone to what STEEZ lead for the listeners of revolutionary music."
[Mixtape] Pro Era – “PEEP: The aPROcalypse”
The world may not have ended on December 21st, but thanks to Pro Era, you can still PEEP: The aPROcalypse. The mixtape boasts a deep roster (Joey Bada$$, Capital STEEZ, Dirty Sanchez, Cj Fly, Nyck Caution, Chuck Strangers, Kirk Knight, A La $ole, Dessy Hinds, Dyemond Lewis, Rokamouth, Lee Bannon, and Kwame 3000) and one of the dopest pieces of cover artwork I've seen in awhile. The music has an absolute 90s-era New York feel, with Joey Bada$$ and Capital STEEZ making the majority of the appearances here. Early favourites include "Like Water", "Wrecord Out", "The Renaissance", "Florists", "Vinyls", "Overseas", and "Last Cypher". Download the mixtape below, and hit the skip to check out the tracklist.

[Video] Joey Bada$$ ft. CJ Fly – “Hardknock” (Dir: Coodie and Chike)
Greatly inspired by 90's hip hop, the young Joey Bada$$ teamed up with CJ Fly for this banger, Hardknock. The track is off Joey's upcoming mix tape, titled "1999" which is dropping June 12th. You can count on that being up on the site, after hearing the flows spit on this one I'm excited to hear the rest the New York City emcee has to offer. Also to note, Coodie and Chike did some amazing work on the visuals here, so props to them. Check out Hardknock below.
