It feels like I've been writing about Kayo a lot recently, but what can I say? Thanks to the release of his
S.L.A.V.E. EP, his "Prologues" video series, and his
cross-Canada tour with Chali 2na, the St. Lucian has cleverly continued to remain among the topics of discussion these past several weeks. Now, Classified's protege has another set of visuals for us to enjoy, this time for the EP's opener, "Don't Bring Me Down". The production on "Don't Bring Me Down" is a collaboration between Young K and
Yogidaproducer (the latter of whom appears in the video), and the result is powerful: a goosebumps-inducing piano loop, overlayed with huge drums, backs Kayo and Lisa Scinta - who provides an excellent performance on the track. Check out the visuals to "Don't Bring Me Down" below.
