Logic is gearing up to drop his major label debut
Under Pressure later this year. When describing the thought process behind the album, Logic stated the following.
"The entire album is about the two sides of myself. I could have done one of two main things when creating the album. Anyone who knows me knows I love all music, from the raw hip-hop to the fun shit they play at parties, but I decided to make a very "classic" hip hop album." The first track I've heard off his project is, "Driving Ms. Daisy," featuring
Childish Gambino. The self produced track has a very mellow, futuristic vibe that is reminiscent of golden era hip-hop, with a 2014 twist. Growing up in a challenging environment, Logic describes an optimistic young man who strives to succeed while trapped in that section 8 lifestyle. Gambino kills his feature verse, dropping that 3005 knowledge as well as the tracks melodic hook. Be sure to check this track out, and comment below.
