Although Canadian Music Week is fast approaching, new showcases are continually being announced in addition to the vast lineup. The Known Unknown and The Remix Project team up to host another showcase on May 6th. With a focus on breaking through new and upcoming artists to the public, the two bring the dope singer/songwriter Adria Kain, alongside a loaded roster of local talent to Tattoo. Come out to the show and them to put some homegrown talent on your radar. It is Canadian Music Week after all. Faiza is a young up and coming R&B singer based out of Toronto. Dropping her first single,"Made To Be" earlier in June, Faiza is making all the right moves in preparation for her E.P release, set to drop on July 3rd. Faiza's voice commands attention. She rides the "Made To Be" instrumental effortlessly, letting each lyric she releases float in the air briefly, before they get stuck in your head. The term "It" factor seems a little cliche at times, but in Faiza's case, it's an understatement. "Made To Be," is the perfect track to zone out with on a nice summer night.
