With certain situations it's hard to find the right words to say and sometimes it's best to take your time to express how you feel. In Locksmith's latest video "Fleming Street" directed by The Young Gunz, he tells a vivid story of the loss of his cousin and how violence in the inner city can be relentless over a smooth instrumental produced by Mike TopNoch and Locksmith himself. Growing up in a similar environment and losing a good friend a couple years ago, I find myself listening to this song a lot whenever I listen to The Green Box . Really pay attention to Locksmith's latest video because there is a lesson to be learned from everything and one of the many reasons I love his music is simply for the fact of how down to earth and real he is. Also if you missed it, be sure to check out our recent interview with Locksmith and let me know why he is one of your favorite artists.
Since the murder of my cousin, I had been searching for the right way to properly express my grief. This song and video is dedicated to his mom (may she rest in peace) and any one who has lost someone to violence.
