Flying Lotus and MF Doom connect for "Masquatch." Fly Lo's outer-worldy production style slotted next to Doom's super villain flow is without a doubt a recipe for success. Coming off the high from NehruvianDOOM, with protege Bishop Nehru, Doom keeps giving us that fire content that fans are feening for. Whenever I see a Fly Lo track featuring a hip hop artist, I instantly get excited; a few months back the space aged producer hooked up with Kenrick Lamar for "Never Catch Me," and the cross over was a success."Masquatch" is no different. It's fair to say it was a GREAT year for producers like Young Chop and Mike Will Made It. According to Wikipedia each producer an average of one song released to their production credits in 2011. This past year was a everything changed especially for Mike Will Made It seems, seems like every song you heard in the club was that same drop "Mike Will Made It" (kind of sounds like "Mike Will Man"). Without further ado here are our favourite producers of 2012.

I'm a little late to the party on this one, but Captain Murphy recently released the deluxe version of Duality, a whopping 31-track mixtape that I still don't know how to describe, other than to say it's unlike anything I've heard before in hip-hop. Plus, it's pretty damn good. Aside from the deluxe mixtape release, Captain Murphy made a splash in the news this past week by revealing his secret identity:
