I've been following the Charlotte, NC collective known as Forever FC since hearing
West 1996 a few months back, through a much appreciated email submission. Since then, I’ve been listening to their latest mixtapes & older material as well becoming more interested in who these guys are. Four twenty-something year olds: Lute, Ry, Jimmy Kelso & Schyler Chaise make up Forever FC, each bringing something different and unique to the table.
It all comes together hearing this latest tape titled
"704", without a doubt. Ten dope songs and 28 minutes of playtime this is something you do not want to sleep on. Classic beats and dope samples are used such as Lord Finesse's most well known
"98 Freestyle" instrumental used by Big L. Dr Dre samples are featured on the intro track,

Forever FC - 704
Lute dropped a bomb just now via Twitter in the form of a tune named September 3rd. Off the upcoming ForeverFC 704 Compilation tape, September 3rd is about the struggles of life seen from a Charlotte native. Lute has great flow on this one, delivered soliloquy-style, over some on-point production that fits perfectly. Definitely check out the song below and be on the look out for the compilation tape dropping soon. Also check out Lute's 
Forever Fc's very own Schyler Chaise delivered on his latest mixtape, The Incomparable. You may have heard a select few off the mixtape prior to the release, but the fresh songs such as "Wake Up" & "Breakfast At Tupac's" (to name only a couple) are very welcomed and will be getting heavy spins in my iPod personally.
Production is amazing, featuring beats from J. Dilla, AFTA-1, Chris Calor & The Mighty DJ DR, along with features from Forever FC members, The Incomparable is a mixtape you shouldnt sleep on. A download link is down below, along with streams of a couple of my favorites "Wake Up" & "Foreign Places".

Forever FC member Schyler Chaise is gearing up for the June 10th release of his upcoming mixtape, The Incomparable with this tune, The Dons Chant. If you've been sleeping on the Charlotte, NC natives known as Forever FC its time to wake up and pay attention.
