My buddy Sull from
Off The Hook told me about Montreal's
Lunice a while back when were we were chilling out in his apartment, spinning through tracks before the Black Milk show. Lunice been making some big moves around the city - - he played last weekends's igloofest, which is basically a huge snow-pants dance party down in Old Montreal-- and now outside it, collaborating with Diplo, Wiz Khalifa, Young L and Lil B and having made the iTunes top 5 downloads for
Stacker Upper, his most recent EP. But it seems the guy likes working within various different musical dialects. Today I caught wind that he's up on hiphopdx for a chill out golden era jazz-sample track (with blue muted trumpets) he made with California duo
The Jealous Guys called "Bus Stop Jazz," which you can hear and watch after the skip.
Lunice's production eclecticism can be heard in "Freaky", a free track just released via his twitter today, an electro dance-hop production.
Stream "Freaky" below, then hit the skip for download and to see the video for "Bus Stop Jazz."
