If you are going to use free file hosting I really recommend
Multi Upload. It provides various hosting providers including Zshare, Megaupload, Rapidshare, Depositfiles and so much more.
Why is this important? Because if you send a download link and it expires then your recipient can't download but with multiple options there is a better chance they will download your file.
Another bonus. If you are sending music this is
KEY because you can upload to zshare and badongo which means the recipient can preview your music before downloading.
