Detroit emcee Shaun Carlo recently released a video titled "100 Bars" on which he raps over nine hip-hop beats. DJ Bleek of Compound Sound does the mixing. The combination of a rapper and DJ performing so well is rare in today's music but Shaun Carlo and DJ Bleek take us back to the roots. The beats are a mix of new and old and Shaun Carlo is able to rap over all of them flawlessly with a great display of versatility in his style. Even after the first couple of beats in the video, it is evident that Shaun Carlo is very talented and capable of delivering some hard bars.
