On 11/11/11, G-Side released their fifth album (and 2nd LP this year), Island. Their production is always on point courtesy of the Block Beattaz Production Unit and how trill is this:
"Despite G-Side's worldwide expansion, they are still entirely independent and undeniably Southern. When they aren't recording or on the road, Clova works in the Huntsville barber shop that he owns and ST maintains a gas station with his brother."

Hunstville, Alabama's G-Side, composed of emcees ST 2 Lettaz & Yung Clova, are in no way newcomers to the game. But with the release of their 4th album, The One...Cohesive, G-Side seemed to fully develop their style of hip-hop. A lot of credit goes to the Block Beataz production duo, who provided the music to most of this project. Their melodic, experimental trunk music is like nothing I've ever heard. "How Far" is the 3rd video off The One. You gotta love the T.Dot mention at 1:16. And Below is the video for "Inner Circle", another track off the album. Note the Jays fitted; Real recognize real.
